Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Quarry Pit Loader Operator to operate heavy machinery in our quarry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quarry operations, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols. As a Quarry Pit Loader Operator, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely loading materials, maintaining equipment, and contributing to the overall success of our quarry operations. Full-Time (6:30 AM – 6:30 PM) Monday - Friday may be required to work Saturday depending on company needs.

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain quarry pit loaders in a safe and efficient manner

Load materials into trucks (Haul Trucks ) or hoppers using heavy machinery

This role will also maintain stockpiles, ensuring they are properly mixed and ensuring that the asphalt and concrete plants are loaded with uncontaminated material

Perform routine pre and post-operation inspections on equipment

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols

Collaborate with other team members to optimize production and workflow

Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs promptly

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow established procedures for blasting operations (if applicable)

Adhere to environmental regulations and best practices

Requirements:

2 – 3 years’ experience as a Quarry Pit Loader Operator or similar role. (Front End Loader, Excavator, Bulldozer, Backhoe)

Knowledge of quarry operations, safety procedures, and equipment maintenance.

Ability to operate and troubleshoot various types of quarry pit loaders.

Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor as required.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
