Description

　　Well respected downtown Fort Worth law firm is seeking to add a family law paralegal to their growing litigation team! This paralegal will support attorneys in all aspects of family law cases from divorces, child custody, and more including Trial attendance. The ideal paralegal candidate will be able to work independently on both family law and general litigation cases. A permanent employment opportunity, this Paralegal role is located in Fort Worth, TX. 　　Responsibilities

　　Conducting client intake

　　Draft and Review legal documents such as divorce decrees, child custody agreements, prenuptial agreements, and wills

　　Work closely with clients who may be unfamiliar with the law and legal terminology / procedures

　　Conduct legal research to find precedents that support attorney's arguments in court

　　Requirements

　　5+ years of family law experience

　　Texas family law experience

　　Experience with civil litigation matters

　　Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

　　Previous experience drafting legal documents such as affidavits, motions, subpoenas, settlement agreements, pleadings, discovery requests, and wills.

　　Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

　　Extensive computer and database expertise

　　Paralegal associates degree or other relevant certification
