Description

We are seeking a dedicated Litigation Attorney to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this role, you will be handling all aspects of litigation, including drafting legal briefs, arguing cases in court, and managing appeals. You will also be responsible for propounding and responding to discovery, and maintaining a collaborative environment within the team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the process of propounding and answering discovery

• Draft and review legal documents with accuracy and detail

• Handle cases on appeal and prepare for potential litigation

• Collaborate with team members on daily basis

• Argue cases effectively in court

• Conduct thorough and detailed depositions

• Engage in trial preparation and execution

• Utilize case management software to maintain accurate records

• Handle customer complaints and inquiries effectively

• Manage civil litigation and claim administration procedures.

Requirements • Possession of a valid license to practice law

• A minimum of 10 years' experience as a Litigation Attorney

• Proficiency in using 3M technology for legal proceedings

• Expertise in Adobe Acrobat for document handling and presentations

• Familiarity with Case Management Software for efficient case tracking and management

• Experience with Conveyancer for real estate transactions

• Strong skills in Document Management for maintaining and organizing legal documents

• Ability to conduct Briefing sessions for clients and team members

• Extensive experience in Civil Litigation, handling civil cases from initiation to judgment

• Proven track record in Claim Administration, overseeing the process of claims resolution

• Competency in Complaint Handling, resolving customer disputes and grievances

• Knowledge of Consumer Electronics for cases related to consumer electronics disputes and issues
