Description
Our rapidly expanding legal team is in need of an experienced, committed Litigation Attorney. The successful candidate will have significant experience in overseeing all aspects of litigation, from investigation to pleadings, and discovery through to pre-trial, trials, settlements, and appeal processes. A comprehensive understanding of the latest legal principles, best practices, research methods, combined with excellent interpersonal skills, is mandatory for this role. Requirements
Responsibilities:
Manage all steps of the litigation process, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, preparing for trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
Develop, scrutinize, review, and negotiate necessary legal documentation.
Supervise and handle new and ongoing litigation cases from a risk-aversion perspective.
Undertake in-depth research to give competent advice to clients, devise litigation tactics, amass proof, and develop legal theories.
Stand for clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement discussions.
Deliver legal counsel and litigation solutions to clients and work collaboratively within our legal team.
Evaluate, summarise, depose, and cross-examine witnesses during legal proceedings.
Uphold stringent confidentiality and discretion in all issues.
Continually stay updated on the latest changes in the law through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed and in good standing to practice law.
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in litigation.
Demonstrated proficiency and experience dealing with litigation matters in court.
Proven ability to handle complex, voluminous, and high-stakes caseloads.
Excellent skills in research, analysis, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously and manage several tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Unyielding ethical standards and professional integrity.
Compensation: $53/hr - $55/hr
