Description

　　Robert Half Legal Permanent Placement is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our practice specializing in Insurance, Business-to-business, Trust & Estate Disputes with a crucial emphasis on probate south of the city. The role requires minor engagements in trials, depositions, mediations, and motion hearings. Our ideal candidate should have a strong background in civil litigation and a proven track record of handling complex cases. Great location and congenial work environment.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Represent clients in court proceedings on matters concerning insurance, business-to-business, trust & estate disputes – probate.

　　Responsible for preparing and drafting legal documents and agreements.

　　Manage all phases of litigation process to include pleadings, discovery, depositions, settlement, trial, and appeal.

　　Gather evidence, evaluate findings, and develop strategies and arguments.

　　Make court appearances and argue cases.

　　Negotiate settlements to solve disputes favorably for clients.

　　Participate in depositions, mediations, and motion hearings.

　　Handle a caseload with minimal supervision, making sure to meet all deadlines and provide regular updates to clients.

　　Regularly clarify and explain complex legal issues to clients, ensuring they understand the potential risks and benefits of different legal strategies.

　　Requirements

　　Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.

　　A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role or relevant legal area.

　　Must be barred in MA.

　　Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to innovatively resolve complex disputes.
