Here is your chance to join the Crown Aerosol Division. TITLE & HOURLY RATE: Litho Stripper - $20.92 RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain punctual and regular attendance. Understand and adhere to Company guidelines as relates to plant operations. Perform all duties in accordance with Crown s Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Rules, Safety Training and practice all Safe Start Principles. Complete all applicable department/union training programs. Sets up and operates press to print descriptive material and designs on tinplate; Installs printing plates on machine rolls, using hand tools and gauges. Adjusts feed guides, back and side gauges, and rollers with hand tools. Coater set up for various sheet sizes on the back end. Inspects lithograph plate to ensure printing is clear and lined up according to specifications or sample. Greasing, oiling and assist coater operator with minor repairs on the back end. Accurately fill out production reports and load tickets. Follow standard process controls to maintain good work quality and monitor quality of products produced. Good housekeeping practices is very necessary in this position. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18 years or older. Must have high school diploma or G.E.D. Technical school background helpful. Must have a good mechanical and technical aptitude. Must have working knowledge of tinplate and tin coatings. Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift between 10 lbs. - 50 lbs. Stand at workstation for duration of scheduled shift, which may exceed 8 hours per day. Ability to perform basic math. Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
