Description:

　　Actalent is currently seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to support one of our teammates in the defense industry. The selected candidate will support execution of programs and equipment supporting NASIC’s Integrated SIGINT Lab (ISL). In support of ISL activities, you will aid the customer and embedded team with software and hardware integration into the larger ISL processing suite and focus on deployment and monitoring of software and hardware solutions. As part of a larger team, you will focus on and coordinate efforts to mitigate security risks by following prescribed NASIC and NSA security directives.

　　This is expected be a short term contract running through April 30th, with potential to be extended to another task order based on funding, performance and the consultants qualifications.

　　Responsibilities:

　　• Coordinate installation efforts using Risk Management Framework, in accordance with NASIC/IT and NSA directives.

　　• Collaborate on system engineering efforts to maximize supportability and performance of classified engineering systems.

　　• Draft technical instructions, engineering plans and designs, and other system integration documents.

　　• Guage effectives and efficiency of classified engineering systems and initiate strategies, as necessary, to improve systems.

　　• Experience with network accreditation using Risk Management Framework

　　Highly Desired:

　　• Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) or Active Directory (AD)

　　• Virtualization (VMWare) or Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization (RHEV)

　　• Scripting Language (Python, Perl, PowerShell)
