　　Job Description

　　Collects soiled linen, and delivers linens to patient areas when necessary.

　　Job Responsibility

　　Assists in soiled linen collection, laundering, and distribution; collects soiled linen from chutes and brings to soiled area.

　　Checks chutes on a regular basis to prevent soiled linen back-up.

　　Inspects linen for stains and tears; routes for rejected linen.

　　Delivers adequate supplies of linen to proper floor units when necessary.

　　Performs rough dry processing; sets correct drying time.

　　Promptly informs the Supervisor of equipment failure.

　　Checks for complete dryness of article before removal.

　　Operates steamer for taking out wrinkles of wash and wear articles such as lab coats, jackets, and pants.

　　Supplies uniform requests on an exchange basis and ensures that employee signature is obtained.

　　Job Qualification

　　High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.1-3 years of relevant experience, preferred.*Additional Salary Detail

　　The salary range for this position is $24.09-$27.07/hour
