Reference #: 7a89319f-e479-418e-b6e2-d6c9a938c37cDescriptionResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following: - Communicate with material management - Track the detail of daily department performance - SIC tracking - Locate pallets in Order Assembly (rework product) - Re-label or re-date product as needed - Drive lowboy or fill in on the line as needed - Perform periodic temperature, leaker and burst tank checks - Submit work requests - Train team members - Learn & specialize machinery and equipment - Fill in for breaks - Perform regular quality checks and drive improvement of quality/efficiency in the room - Make sure that all employees are following SOPs and safety rules - Verify that everything is put away at the end of the day - Verify the schedule and plan accordingly to make sure that all orders are met - Ensure product flow in and out of productions rooms - Manage staging of products for smooth transition - Manage product flow to maximize efficiencies - Identify, communicate and assist in identifying/resolving process deviations and other process related issues - Assist in data entry for overall department performance trending - Utilize Avantis work order system to communicate PIT and other trades issues - Understanding and working knowledge of systems, including (but not limited to) ERP, Portean, Accusort, etc - Order supplies as needed
