Job Description:Under supervision, prepares and cooks food.

　　ScopeReviews menus daily to determine quantities of food and supplies needed.Prepares food for cafeteria, patient food service and catering usingcreativity, quality, consistency, and promptness.Follow and comply with recipe standards.Monitors and replenishes food as needed for cafeteria, catering, orpatient trays.Ensures food is being handled and stored to Hazardous Analysis of CriticalControl Point (HACCP) guidelines.Operates various types of kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness. Recordstemperatures of refrigerators. Ensures equipment is in good working condition.Promotes mission, vision, and values of SCL Health, and abides byservice behavior standards.Performs other duties as assigned.

　　Minimum QualificationsRequired

　　PreferredHigh school diploma or equivalent is preferredOne (1) year food service experience in a healthcare facility, such ashealth care food service is preferred Minimum 6 months experience in foodpreparation, preferably in a healthcare setting is preferred
