ASM Global , the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for a Part Time Line and Prep Cook at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts 01608 . This is a part time, event related position.

　　POSITION SUMMARY:

　　This position works in the main kitchen and in concessions preparing food items for the facility.

　　POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Fulfill the service per each Banquet Event Order (BEO)

　　Maintain all kitchen equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance

　　Design buffet food presentations with creativity

　　Prepare recipes as directed

　　Maintain a clean and safe working environment

　　Other duties as assigned

　　SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 　　EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE

　　High School Diploma or GED required

　　At least one year experience in a banquet facility preparing meals for large events

　　SKILLS AND ABILITIES

　　Ability to work with other staff members in the facility

　　Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks

　　Ability to be creative with buffet food presentations and maintain a quality product

　　Ability to take direction well

　　Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends and holidays, as needed

　　Must be able to read, write and speak in English

　　Must have professional attitude and appearance

　　Must be at least 18 years old

　　The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job .
