Your opportunity... We're looking for a Lighting Controls Applications Specialist to join our Sales Support Team in Eden Prarie, MN. As an Applications Specialist, you'll be responsible for generating submittal and installation documentation. The documentation includes lighting control device layouts, one-line riser diagrams, cut sheets, installation details, and wiring diagrams. The role also includes developing and maintaining business relationships with sales agents, specifiers, electrical distributors, and electrical contractors. Analyzing electrical plans, specifications, and sequence of operations. Generate lighting control device layouts and one-line riser diagrams. Review project quotations, purchase orders, and sales orders to identify and resolve any discrepancies in ERP system. Review submittal and installation documents to ensure documentation is accurate and complete. Proactively communicate project changes and update documentation accordingly. Coordinate custom product requirements with engineering, operations, and production team. Manage multiple projects to meet customer and project deadlines. Attend and lead project meetings and conference calls with clients and customer. Respond quickly and professionally to requests from sales reps, consultants, engineers, electricians, and end users. What you'll need... Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or in lieu of a degree, 3+ years of work experience in the lighting and controls industry. Strong computer skills, which includes a working knowledge of Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP systems. Candidates with Bluebeam and AutoCAD experience will be given preference. Knowledge of electrical building and energy codes, electrical contracting, electrical engineering, or lighting design. Proven interpersonal skills, which include verbal and written communication, positive attitude, listening skills, open to feedback, reliability, collaboration, and sense of humor. Lighting Control Systems experience (BMS integration, IT integration knowledge). Attention to detail while thoroughly reviewing project documents. Ability to organize daily and weekly schedule to meet project deadlines. What you'll get in return...
