WNCT 9 on Your Side is the CBS affiliate in Greenville, NC and home to Eastern North Carolina CW and we're looking for a Lifestyle Reporter/MMJ for our weekday lifestyle show. The show will showcase local businesses, restaurants, fashion, music, non-profit organizations in a fun and informative way that highlights their contributions to our community. Present content on-air and produce shows. You'll work closely with the show’s Reporter, writing stories, show segments, interviewing guests/clients both in studio and on location. Collecting information, video, or photos at remote locations for post-production. Greeting and assisting guests during show preparations. Researching show topics and developing questions for guests in coordination with the producer. Participation in station and community events to help grow the show’s brand. Assist with maintaining the show’s social media account and assist with all online content.

　　Qualifications

　　Knowledge of current events, pop culture, and compelling subjects

　　Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience

　　Station Representative at Community Events

　　Adobe Premiere editing ability

　　Ability to shoot video

　　Knowledge of ENPS and Daybook helpful

　　Duties Include:

　　Excellent communication skills required to actively work with all departments (Sales, Creative Services, News, Production, Programming) at the station.

　　Assists in writing, copy editing, researching, and coordinating content.

　　Superior on-air presence-Interviewing guests/clients in the studio and on location.

　　Knowledge of current events, pop culture, and compelling subjects.

　　Help find local engaging stories to highlight on the lifestyle show.

　　Researching show topics and developing questions for guests.

　　Writing, shooting, and editing stories and in studio pieces.

　　Working with lifestyle host in booking guests.

　　Working with production team on show recording.

　　Work with sales department to help ensure a positive experience for clients.

　　Ability to deliver pre-produced shows and stories on time and on brand.

　　Post stories to page on WNCT.com and participate in regular social media posts.

　　Other duties as assigned.
