  Responsibilities

  Plan, coordinate, provide, and evaluate adult learning educational activities.

  Develop, implement and evaluate educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.

  Collaborate with managers and staff to assess the learning needs of staff and new hires.

  Serve as a resource for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.

  Maintain credentials required for certification.

  Requirements

  Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  One or more of the following required:

  Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

  BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

  Certified Instructor specializing in Advanced Cardio Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

  Pediatric Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

  Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing preferred.

  Education:

  High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.Additional Preferences
