Our LPNs are responsible for providing quality,routine, direct and indirect patient care for geriatric and/or disabledmembers of WVHUG. Duties include assisting the Registered Nurses inmaking critical observations of clients and assisting in complex caresituations; working directly with families; assisting in personal care;administering and documenting treatments and medication; participatingin the maintenance of the care unit; and working with aninterdisciplinary team. Core Shifts Available AM 1st shift - 6:30 a.m.to 3:00 p.m. PM 2nd shift - 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. NOC 3rd shift -10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Our LPN full time positions work multipleshifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. For more informationregarding our part-time positions click here Job duties require theability to move, reposition and transport patients, stand and/or walk upto 75% of eight-hour day to provide assessments, sit, kneel, stoop, makevisual observations, lift, push, pull, carry, reach, maintain hygiene,use special safety equipment, and wear protective clothing. Employmentin this position is contingent upon passing a pre-employmenttuberculosis (TB) skin test. Due to the nature of the positions, WDVAwill conduct a criminal background check prior to an offer ofemployment. A 12-month probationary period may be required.
