Job Summary

　　This position works on a clinical operations team providing clinical support to our providers while ensuring our patients have a safe and positive experience.

　　Duties and Responsibilities

　　Work closely with clinical leadership to ensure smooth patient flow in the operational areas.

　　Perform clinical duties in all areas including Express, Cast Room, and pods.

　　Perform clinical duties such as the application and removal of casts, sutures, staples, braces.

　　Perform wound care and deliver patient education.

　　Answer triages, as needed or directed.

　　Room patients, take vitals and history, update electronic medical chart as needed.

　　Update and maintain patient medical records, including visit details, insurance and contact information.

　　Service patient after visit with appropriate paperwork, schedule follow-up appointment, send out medical records as requested, and answer any patient inquiries.

　　Maintain exam rooms to appropriate regulatory standards.

　　Audit new patient charts.

　　Work as a team to replenish exam room and clinical supplies, including office supplies for designated area.

　　Train others as needed or directed.

　　Perform any responsibilities of a Medical Assistant, as needed or directed.

　　Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

　　Qualifications

　　Requirements and Qualifications

　　Valid NYS LPN License.

　　2+ years experience in high volume medical office rooming patients.

　　Experience in wound care, casting highly preferred.

　　EMR knowledge required, MEDENT preferred.

　　Physical Demands

　　Involves standing and walking for entire duration of shift.

　　Team member will occasionally be asked to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.

　　Normal visual acuity and hearing are required.
