  Description of Duties:

  This is an Academic Year, (late August to early May) evening position (30 hours per week / Sunday - Thursday, 4:00 pm-10:00 pm). This job includes duties related to Building, Library and Collection, such as:

  Building Related Duties including: Open and/or close the library building, Enforce policies, Report building maintenance needs, Provide general customer service, including directions and referrals, Provide support for all students as a trusted adult, including guiding students to campus services, including tutoring, Writing and Communications Center, Student Accessibility Services, Wellness Center, and residential staff, when appropriate, and Provide secondary support for student workers and tutors after hours.

  Library Related Duties including: Supervise Student Library Assistants, Staff library service desk, Maintain interlibrary loan and resource sharing service throughout the evening hours, and Library Project work.

  Collections Duties including: Shelve, shift, and collections project work, consisting of lifting, twisting, and carrying.

  Other reasonable duties as assigned.

  Salary Range: $38,600 - $41,600

  Minimum Requirements:

  Associate's degree

  Communication skills appropriate to a post-secondary educational environment

  Outstanding commitment to customer service

  Understanding of the nature and function of libraries

  Preferred qualifications include:

  Bachelor's degree

  Library experience
