　　Robert Half is seeking a Legal Assistant to join a great firm in downtown Chicago. Are you a motivated self-starter and standout colleague with good computer skills and ability to multi-task? We might have a job for you. This full-time Legal Assistant is based in the Chicago, Illinois area. The position has remote flexibility. 　　Key responsibilities:

　　Responsible for assisting with pleadings, court filings, and trial preparation

　　Take incoming phone calls and lend an extra ear with handling high volume phone lines

　　Efficiently organize correspondence and pleadings, arrange for service on parties

　　Maintain case calendar and monitor deadlines

　　Manage hard copies of documents, as well as the electronic document system

　　Partake in preparing exhibit binders for depositions, hearings and trials

　　Prepare a variety of documents and correspondence

　　Requirements

　　Requirements:

　　Comprehensive knowledge of personal injury

　　Previous legal work experience and a dedication to integrity

　　Incoming phone call management skills desired

　　Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, to prioritize client matters and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent through each task performed

　　Knowledgeable with Internet research, calendaring, word processing and spreadsheets

　　Excellent oral and written communication skills

　　Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

　　Eagerness to learn new concepts
