SUMMARY OF POSITION:* *Teaches courses in exercise science, mentor students, and participate in department, college, and university service activities.

　　Courses to be taught would likely include kinesiology, Introduction to Kinesiology and Sport Science, Resistance Training, Aerobic Conditioning, and other classes depending upon the department's needs. Advising and service will be required.

　　Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday, including some evenings, and the possibility of some weekend days.

　　QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:* Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures:* ACSM exercise physiology certification or clinical exercise physiology certification.

　　Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in exercise physiology, exercise science or kinesiology. ACSM exercise physiology certification or clinical exercise physiology certification.

　　Preferred Qualifications: Field experience in exercise testing and prescription. Evidence of experience teaching undergraduate courses, and service to the profession.
