W hat’s a typical day as an Administrative Assistant I? You’ll be:

• Helping with office duties and assisting home owners, including some older individuals who require extra care.

• Making copies and performing basic computer skills, such as using Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Answering and routing incoming phone calls for 1-9 lines and taking and relaying telephone messages.

• Providing telephone directory assistance and greeting, escorting, and directing visitors.

• Providing general information to callers or visitors.

• Communicating clearly and accurately, using a telephone system to receive and transfer calls, and showing patience and courtesy when dealing with people.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Are patient and compassionate, especially when dealing with older home owners who may require additional assistance.

• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and accurately.

• Are able to use a telephone system to receive and transfer calls.

• Have a professional and courteous demeanor.
