Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Work with the Director of Learning and Development to support Valley's leadership development strategy that aligns with culture and organizational needs. Design and deliver various leadership programs at different levels of the organization to support enhancement to skills and leadership capabilities. Maintain a broad scope of influence across People Resources and with Senior Management to ensure alignment of all leadership development initiatives (i.e., recruitment, assignments, promotions, succession planning and readiness, training programs, etc.) Identify and champion nomination criteria to maintain the integrity of the programs, support the experience of the cohort and validate Valley's investment. Develop metrics to assess the impact of the programs (performance, retention, promotion, filling critical roles internally, succession). Engage with paricipants and people leaders throught out the program to measure and support the experience. Manage the relationships and effectiveness of vendors and consultants supporting Valley's initiatives. Collaborate with other members of the Learning and Development team and other work groups to ensure business objectives are met through effective learning solutions. Administer and collect post class survey data. Present results to L-D Director. Other Responsibilities:
Leads medium to large size projects as assigned. Handles other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills:
Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum design and development models, principles and practices. Knowledge of leadership attributes and principles. Proficient in training methodologies (gamified learning, elearning), remote learning tools. (teams, zoom, etc.) and soft skills (communication skills, critical thinking, time management, team building, etc). Very high energy, enthusiastic, motivational training style; able to present in front of groups or on video. Strong critical thinking skills; excellent creative and conceptual thinking abilities. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in MS Products - strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and web based systems Strong organizational, planning, project management, problem resolution, communication, presentation, facilitation and influencing skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to quickly acclimate to an organization and establish credibilty. Strong time management and multi-tasking skills; ability to prioritize assignments. Required Experience:
Valid Driver's license. Bachelor's degree in a Business, Social Sciences, Education or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of experience designing leadership curriculum and conducting stand-up training or presenting. Masters Degree, Certification in coaching as it relates to leadership assessments (IE. Gallup, DiSC) preferred.
