  Summary

  CAE is seeking for an experienced leader to strengthen governance and enhance operations across our Program, Business Development, and Strategy teams. In this position, the Leader will be accountable for heading a team that will manage and coordinate all governance aspects of regional Program Management and Business Development operations within the Canada Defence & Security group. Drawing upon his / her experience with large and complex programs, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and inherent leadership qualities, the ideal candidate for this position is someone who aspires to progress rapidly into a more senior program, business development, or strategy-setting role.

  Responsibilities

  Manage, develop, improve, and monitor the business processes to support the Business Development and Program organization.

  Accountable for ensuring adherence to the Lead to Award (L2A) process and for executing or coordinating key program governance processes, including reporting, auditing, training and process improvement, ensuring at all times the regional process is followed and aligned with the global process.

  Lead and coach PMO & Sales ops teams to develop and sustain competency, and ensure individual contributions, values, and career development align with D&S Canada expectations.

  Manage the regional SalesForce CRM tool and SFDC user accounts, while providing insightful and actionable recommendations to the Global D&S SFDC teams for enhancements and continuous development.

  Develop, implement, and monitor operational systems and processes to provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles to D&S Canada’s achievement of mandated objectives, key results and initiatives.

  Maximize efficiency and productivity through process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary.

  Oversee and where assigned lead execution of strategic initiatives that are cross-functional / regional / or at the business unit level (e.g., EVMS, Risks and Opportunities)

  Support the D&S Canada BD, Strategy and Programs teams to develop coordinated financial and budgetary plans, and where required either conduct or oversee reporting, presentation, and general governance, including but not limited to EO, FY budget, forecasts, and other plans.

  What you need to have

  Bachelor’s degree or graduate degree in technical/administrative discipline with proven experience and demonstrated leadership ability.

  Minimum of 5-8 years relevant experience in a technical area and/or Program Management

  Very good knowledge of PM and other business processes

  High level skills / experience in complex program management including Earned Value Management and best practices for executing large programs and EVM and related tools.

  Experience in Change Management and implementing process improvement initiatives.

  Strong organizational skills and business acumen

  Strong communication in English, French an asset

  Strong interpersonal skills as well as very good functional knowledge of PM Oriented tools such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Planisware, and Oracle R12

  Must be results oriented and be counted on to exceed goals successfully. Ability to find cost & time effective solutions.

  Performs effectively under stress, deal with changing situations in a fast-paced environment.

  Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints.

  Tact and self-discipline necessary to interface effectively with customers, vendors and all levels of management, employees and the general public.

  Be able to hold a Canadian Security Clearance & Controlled Good Clearance

  Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident or with a valid Work Permit

  Responsabilités

  Gérer, développer, améliorer et contrôler les processus opérationnels pour soutenir l’organisation du développement des affaires et des programmes.

  Il est responsable du respect du processus menant à l’octroi et de l’exécution ou de la coordination des principaux processus de gouvernance des programmes, y compris l’établissement de rapports, l’audit, la formation et l’amélioration des processus, en veillant à tout moment à ce que le processus régional soit respecté et aligné sur le processus mondial.

  Diriger et encadrer les équipes PMO et Opérations commerciales pour développer et maintenir les compétences, et veiller à ce que les contributions individuelles, les valeurs et le développement de carrière soient conformes aux attentes de D-S Canada.

  Gérer l’outil CRM SalesForce régional et les comptes utilisateurs SFDC, tout en fournissant des recommandations perspicaces et exploitables aux équipes SFDC D-S International en vue d’améliorations et d’un développement continu.

  Élaborer, mettre en œuvre et contrôler les systèmes et processus opérationnels afin de fournir une visibilité sur les objectifs, les progrès et les obstacles à la réalisation par D-S Canada des objectifs, des résultats clés et des initiatives qui lui ont été confiés.

  Maximiser l’efficacité et la productivité par l’analyse des processus et la collaboration interdépartementale, en recommandant des solutions d’amélioration, si nécessaire.

  Superviser et, le cas échéant, diriger l’exécution d’initiatives stratégiques multidisciplinaires, régionales ou au niveau de l’unité d’affaires (par exemple, EVMS, risques et occasions).

  Soutenir les équipes de D-S Canada Développement des affaires, Stratégie et Programmes pour développer des plans financiers et budgétaires coordonnés et, le cas échéant, réaliser ou superviser les rapports, la présentation et la gouvernance générale, y compris, mais sans s’y limiter, les EO, le budget de l’exercice fiscal, les prévisions et d’autres plans.

  Compétences requises

  Baccalauréat ou diplôme d’études supérieures dans une discipline technique ou administrative avec expérience avérée et capacité de leadership démontrée

  Au moins 5 à 8 ans d’expérience pertinente dans un domaine technique et/ou dans la gestion de programmes

  Très bonne connaissance de la gestion de projet et d’autres processus opérationnels

  Compétences ou expérience de haut niveau dans la gestion de programmes complexes, y compris la gestion de la valeur acquise et les bonnes pratiques pour l’exécution de grands programmes, et les outils connexes

  Expérience de la gestion du changement et de la mise en œuvre d’initiatives d’amélioration des processus

  Solides compétences organisationnelles et sens des affaires

  Solides compétences en communication en anglais, la connaissance du français étant un atout

  Solides compétences liées aux relations interpersonnelles et aux outils de gestion de projets tels que Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Planisware et Oracle R12
