　　Lead Youth Development Specialists counsel and supervise youth with complex behaviors. You will serve as a lead worker and functionally supervise subordinates in the areas of scheduling shift work,training,treatment planning,program facilitation and development in a facility or in the community. You will provide security,supervision and direction of youth with complex behavioral problems to ensure that adequate standards of conduct,health,safety,housekeeping and recreation are maintained.

　　Assesses client physical,mental,social and behavioral needs.Develops and implements individualized treatment plans.Makes decisions consistent with the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.Speaks clearly,concisely and effectively. Is able to listen to (and understand) information as presented verbally. Will need to be able to read and understand written information.Has passed the Integrated Crisis Response (ICR) intervention program within 90 days of employment (coordinated by Juvenile Justice).Perform High Fidelity Wraparound Facilitator tasks. ```{=html}

　　```- Will facilitate high fidelity wraparound services for families: utilize a strength based approach to safety planning,development of family team and family support systems, and wraparound planning for the purpose of maintaining children in their omes.- Provide regular communication and close collaboration with multiple community partners (e.g.,Juvenile Court,Division of Juvenile Justice Services,Division of Services for People with Disabilities and Local Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Treatment Facilities).- Coordinate and refer services of community resources,placement providers,collateral agencies,the court,and/or other community partners with families or youth receiving serv ices.- Prepare detailed case management documentation,including opening and closing referral records,completing assessments,Strengths Needs & Cultural Discoveries,Wraparound Plans,contact notes,safety and crisis prevention plans,correspondence,and etc.- Prepare wraparound plan with families and agency partners with measurable outcomes and time bound specific objectives.- Provide families with information concerning the wraparound teaming process, resources,supports,services,goals and expectations.- Provide the facilitation of high-fidelity wraparound and follow through for youth involved in multiple systems.

　　The Ideal Candidate:

　　This position is based in Washington County (Hurricane),and will be required to travel in order to serve families within the Southwest Region of Utah (Iron and Washington County).Current JJYS employees onlyPreference may be given to candidates 21 years of age and a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Six years of paid working experience with troubled or at-risk youth; six years of full-time education or a combination of education and experience to equal six years. Qualifying work experience: Paid work at any JJYS facility,Utah State Hospital,Utah State Developmental Center,private residential youth programs,alternative schools,juvenile probation/parole,Law enforcement,or programs that work with at-risk or delinquent youths.Non-qualifying work experience: *Volunteer work with youth and unpaid experience.   *Supplemental Information*Only applicants invited to interview will be contacted.   *
