Lead Transmission Line Engineer

System One is currently seeking a Lead Transmission Line Engineer on a direct hire position located in Tampa, FL.
Lead Transmission Line Engineer Responsibilities:
The Lead Transmission Engineer will work closely with the team of transmission engineers and our utility clients on the design and installation of overhead electric transmission lines.
The Lead Transmission Engineer will use various industry standard in-house and client-based software applications to design and develop engineering construction packages.
Lead Transmission Line Engineer Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program
PE license preferred
Minimum 4 years of direct experience in designing high-voltage overhead transmission lines (consultant experience required)
Minimum 4 years of experience with PLS-CADD and PLS Pole
Proficient in design and review of transmission line design & construction packages
Proficient in design of transmission foundations
Proficient with transmission line hardware and materials
Extensive experience with design codes and industry standards, including: NESC, ASCE, IEEE, and ACI
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Valid driver’s license
Pre-employment drug screening and background check

Location: Tampa, FL
Pay Rate: $90-130k
