　　Summary Job Description Responsibilities:

　　Work in classroom with 2 Associate Teachers and 12 students and possibly college or graduate student teachersSupervise associate teachers, student teachers and college student assistants Facilitate developmentally appropriate experiences and care-givingSupport pedagogical plan for play based learning Articulate developmental based philosophy and play-based curriculumSupport maintenance of partnership with parents via newsletters, meetings and conversations as neededPrepare presentations for classroom parent meetings and lead in production of student reportsCo-lead parent-teacher conferencesAttend monthly staff development

　　Minimum Qualifications

　　BA degree in Early Childhood Education, with an Initial License and the following NYS Teacher Certification tests must be in progress: AlST, EAS, CST, and edTPA. Must meet DOI fingerprinting and all relevant clearancesCandidates submit cover letter and resumeExperience working with young children between the age of 2-3 years old.
