This is an excellent opportunity to join us in building a brand-new team responsible for developing and optimizing social media activation products. Our goal is to create a marketing product portfolio that allows LEGO to deliver exceptional, data-driven digital marketing to people worldwide.

Set the direction for the architecture, technical design, development and optimization of social media activation products.
Contribute to the social media product backlog, assisting in prioritization and progress communication.

You will play a crucial role in the newly established Marketing Product function. In the team, your technical expertise will be vital in developing a wide range of digital products across marketing planning, activation, and evaluation. Your work will be critical in enabling our marketing efforts and laying the foundation for the future!
As Lead Engineer you will be part of the extended leadership team in Marketing and Engagement. In collaboration with the Lead Engineers from other teams, you will excess and facilitate close collaboration between your team and the rest of the marketing organization to ensure a coherent and flexible architecture as the basis of creating products, experiences, and tools that engage new and existing users, fueling their love for the LEGO Group brand.
Do you have what it takes?
Experience in driving the creation of software architecture and designs. Can set, evolve and drive the technical direction of a team.
Broad experience with social media tools and platforms, including social listening, publishing, and attribution/evaluation.
Experience in microservices architecture, domain-driven design, and RESTful APIs.
TypeScript, JavaScript/Node.js, Go or similar programming languages and feel comfortable adapting depending on how to create the best and most valuable solutions.
Solid understanding of one of the major Cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Mentor and support the engineers on the team in their daily work and technical growth journey.
