As a Lead Software Engineer, you will take ownership of the development of new features for the InsightAppSec Engine team, working with existing technologies and owning the team's processes end to end. 　　The Lead Software Engineer is a part of our InsightAppSec team who are at the forefront of delivering high quality vulnerability scanning technologies to our customers. In this role you will be focussed on helping our customers seamlessly manage their security solutions as effectively and efficiently as possible, and ensuring our products are delivering a secure experience. You will be given the opportunity to lead a team to deliver the highest quality software .

　　In this role, you will:

　　Build, maintain, and release high quality code by writing correct and clean code consistently and following best practices and conventionsParticipate in the design and planning of upcoming features, our Engineers are first class stakeholders in all parts of the development processWhen required, partner with internal teams such as UX and Product Management who work deeply with our product to ensure we are understanding our customers needsBe a champion for quality within the engineering team, focusing on improving our automated tests and test infrastructureTake ownership of the engine release pipeline,Become a product expert in the end to end running of the productParticipating in on-call support, and incident response follow-ups such as post-mortemsMentoring and coaching team members
