This associate will be working on the Data and AI Services team to help drive AI innovation, enablement, and insights at Publix. They will build solutions using Large Language Models, AI services, and machine learning. They will be working with application teams to design and implement AI services while meeting Responsible AI standards and best practices. They will build evaluation flows and measures to ensure AI services are grounded and effective. They will lead large AI/ML efforts while using agile tools and methodologies. Will design, develop, and deploy AI solutions and data pipelines. Will manage and optimize the effectiveness, latency, and reliability of LLMs in cloud environments. Will collaborate with application development teams to ensure AI functionality is implemented according to standards and best practices. Will contribute to AI and ML development standards and best practices. Will lead project efforts and act as the SME of assigned systems. Will need to share knowledge and train others. Must work well within the team and be flexible with assignments. Will have a hybrid work schedule with 8 days a month in the office in Lakeland, FL

　　Required Qualifications

　　Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience. Must have 7 years professional working experience building high-performance, large-scale, and scalable software systems. Must have 7 years of experience as a full stack developer, deploying cloud-based solutions. Must have 3 years of experience building solutions that use AI/ML such as Generative AI, Speech Recognition, Computer Vision, Predictive Analytics, and Deep Learning

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Preferred experience using Microsoft AI tools such as Semantic Kernal, Prompt Flow, Azure AI Services, Bot Framework, and Bot Services Preferred experience working with Vector Search and Vector Databases Preferred experience developing in C#, React, and Angular Preferred experience with Microsoft Azure Resources and Services, Managed Identity, and Microsoft Graph Preferred experience creating AI/ML solutions using LLMs, LangChain, Notebooks, and Python Experience automating deployments with DevOps pipelines using YAML or Terraform. Technical leadership designing complex AI/ML solutions and data pipelines. Experience developing AI/ML best practices, standards, and governance programs. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Experience supporting production applications. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

　　Year End Bonus

　　As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month's extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
