　　Your Role

　　Currently Dow Jones is looking to expand its Romanian software development team based in Bucharest. The job is open to remote and hybrid models. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing team that will become an important part of global Dow Jones IT. This team will work closely with the Dow Jones IT HQ based in Gaithersburg, US. To fit this role, we are looking for that unique mix of solid technical capabilities, blended with strong interpersonal skills.

　　You Will:

　　Report to our Director of Software Engineering Architect, develop and maintain web solutions in Drupal and PHP implementations in a LAMP environment, including data, display, and information architecture Be part of an Agile team, leading the development team, using company's latest software development life-cycle, working closely with team members from across the world Adhere to best practice development standards (such as continuous integration, deployment, iterative SDLC processes, etc.)

　　You Have:

　　Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related technical field 4+ years hands-on Drupal custom module development, key contributed modules and core API development experience Solid understanding of AJAX, HTML5, Javascript, and CSS3 Experience with database technologies such as MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MS SQL Familiarity with source control systems such as Git, etc. Experience working with cloud platforms such as Acquia, etc

　　You Have:

　　Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related technical field 4+ years of hands-on software development experience Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, Webpack, and front-end frameworks (React/Vue/Angular/Aurelia/etc.) Strong knowledge of C# and Microsoft .Net framework Strong knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, IoC/DI and design patterns. Good understanding of a relational database engine - SQL Server (or PostgreSQL) Experience with modern software development life-cycle Must speak and write in English fluently
