About the Position: This position acts as a Team Leader to the scheduler staff imbedded in the various Planning, Programs, and Project Management Division (PPPMD) teams that perform duties in support of project management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned projects and programs. Responsibilities Works with Project Delivery Team to assess durations and resources to create complex schedules in P2. Maintains and enforces P2 standards and monitors resourcing and scheduling for conformance program standards and requirements. Identifies at-risk projects early enough to take action. Communicates scheduling goals, mission, and objectives and supervisor’s intent by integrating these elements into the team’s work plans, products, and services. Monitor, report on, and check on work progress and review completed work to verify supervisor’s priorities and instructions are being met. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience to include: 1) using computer scheduling software (i.e. P2, Primavera, Microsoft Project) to manage, control, coordinate, and execute construction project activities (i.e. scope, schedule, budget); AND 2) utilizing data to prepare reports to identify inconsistencies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For the GS-12 level, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
