Duties: The Lead Phlebotomist provides day-to-day direction to the Phlebotomy team in achieving optimum workflow while providing an exceptional experience. This individual supports the Supervisor by performing a combination of activities while ensuring all procedures and policies are adhered to. Performs phlebotomy duties in compliance with applicable legal requirements and established laboratory policies. Demonstrates H3W behaviors with a focus on exceptional patient experience and quality outcomes. * High School graduate or equivalent. * Successful completion of Phlebotomy program * 2 years phlebotomy experience * National Certification (NCCT or ASCP) or equivalent * Knowledge of venipuncture techniques * Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude * Good keyboarding skills with ability to learn various laboratory application and HHC computer systems * Continuous improvement mindset * Ability to handle different patient population including difficult patients. * Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills * Ability to operate required lab equipment including pneumatic tube We take great care of careers.
