ADP is hiring a Lead Payroll Policy Developer

　　In this role, you will help the team build Payroll calculation business rules/policies based on the statutory requirements, using ADP's in-house IDE. You will analyze requirements to understand new/enhanced payroll/tax processing logic. You will participate in story mapping sessions with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. You will facilitate Specification by Example (SBE) sessions to gain a clear understanding of assigned features. You will develop policies for payroll calculations to satisfy statutory requirements. You will write and maintain test scenarios and test cases for complex payroll/tax features. You will work with development partners to define system-to-system interactions. You analyze API response payloads in JSON, and transform test cases into the automation framework in spreadsheet format. You validate test results against product requirements.

　　You will utilize JIRA, Confluence (document repository), Google suite (Google docs, Google sheets, etc), Sequel Pro, MySQL Workbench, POSTMAN, IntelliJ and other tools for analysis and development. You will participate in sprint planning, standups, story definition, story estimation and other agile / scrum development activities.

　　To thrive in this development career, you will possess a solid understanding of HCM/payroll concepts and processes. You will have experience with HCM/Payroll systems such as SAP Payroll, ADP GlobalView, Oracle and ADP Autopay. 　　WHAT YOU'LL DO:

　　Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

　　You'll start each day with a scrum, working in a team to understand responsibilities, identify issues, and communicate coding priorities while choosing user stories to complete. You will also participate in other agile ceremonies, including scheduled sprint demos, where you will present your work to up to 90 stakeholders.

　　Variety of work. There is no typical day. You could be checking in with a team in India one minute, meeting with leadership to review initiatives for the coming quarter later and tomorrow handling a few ad hoc requests from your peers in other departments.

　　Influence and inspire confidence. You are comfortable presenting to senior leaders, product owners, and peers with a compelling voice that you demonstrate through executive presence, leading change, and creating clear executive-level communications on milestone achievements.

　　You have 10+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

　　TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

　　You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent

　　Solid Understanding of HCM/payroll concepts and processes

　　Experience with HCM/Payroll systems such as SAP Payroll, ADP GlobalView, Oracle and ADP Autopay

　　Experience in configuring rules based systems

　　Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL desired

　　Experience with XML/JSON desired

　　Agile project development experience desired

　　CPP/FCP payroll certification desired
