Job Description

　　Lead Packaging/Labeling Technician

　　Location : On-site at Eli Lilly and Company. 1221 West Morris Street, Indianapolis 46221

　　Shift: 2nd shift

　　What will you do?

　　Reviews batch paperwork and follows supervisor instructions to understand and perform the necessary packaging procedures required for the assembly of each study.

　　Assumes responsibility for all activities performed within their assigned production room.

　　Assign all production personnel in the room to a specific task and ensure compliance with the batch paperwork by having them properly demonstrate their assigned task to assess competency.

　　Completes in-process paperwork in conjunction with QA personnel.

　　Ensures adequate materials and supplies are available for the completion of the assigned production run.

　　At job completion, all materials are accounted for and documented ensuring accountability limits specified in the SOP’s are met.

　　Participates and successfully completes required training sessions for line leaders, standard operating procedures, quality, safety, etc.

　　Verifies that accurate information is captured in all batch records within all relevant IT systems

　　Communicate any problems with the room to a Supervisor.

　　Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.

　　Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

　　How will you get here?

　　Education

　　High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience

　　6 months of related food or pharmaceutical packaging exp.

　　Ability to read, write and complete basic mathematics calculations with hand held calculator.

　　Computer experience is a plus.

　　Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

　　Self-motivated individual who can work on their own to get results

　　Excel skills, working knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Power Point.

　　Work effectively with a diverse cross-functional team.
