PrimaryResponsibilities: Provide high level machine design and first-of-a-kindconcepts for all clients Identify customer needs/requirements for customdesigned machinery Provide significant input into proposals forengineering and manufacturing efforts for custom designed and builtequipment Lead internal concept development process with ProductionSolution resources and others as required Work through fabrication andassembly issues and update documentation to reflect modificationsSuccessfully complete project deliverables within scope, schedule,budget Lead design teams and provide coaching/mentoring as requiredthroughout project lifecycle Support junior engineers and designers intechnical growth via mentorship and feedback Champion internal qualityand safety processes Travel as needed for data gathering, designreviews, installs, start-ups and troubleshooting to fabrication shops,as well as client locations (25 - 35% travel annually) RequiredQualifications: Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or acombination of a two or four-year technology degree supplemented withequivalent technical training or experience Minimum of 10 years\'experience with custom designed machinery Strong client interfaceexperience Proven examples of leading custom machinery developmentprocess, to include, concepting, modeling, proof of principle,proto-typing, manufacturing, testing and commissioning Proficient in 3Ddesign softwarePreferred Qualifications: Consultant experienceProficient in Inventor and SolidWorks design software packagesExperience...
