　　The Role

　　Location: Herndon, VA

　　Minimum Clearance: A current and active TS/SCI with a CI Polygraph, or a current and active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph.

　　The job will work in a challenging, hands-on environment as part of the Lumen PMO in support of the HAT Contract.

　　The Main Responsibilities

　　• Performing horizontal integration planning, and interfacing with other functional areas, ensuring that technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner.

　　• Providing management of contract personnel and ensuring high quality and acceptable task completion and deliverables within their contract in compliance with the SOW.

　　• Providing frequent periodic reports on the status of the contractor staffing.

　　• Point of contact for non-routine to moderately complex installation projects for communication networks.

　　• Accountable for meeting contractual performance criteria and due dates during service delivery, and successful overall project completion.

　　• Coordinating activities in support of program managers and teams that support the provisioning, design, installation, maintenance, and billing of services.

　　• Tracking and monitoring service orders through completion and turn-up and preparing deliverables.

　　• Estimating effort, cost, and schedule for complex projects.

　　• Creating project management plans for IT Infrastructure projects. Monitors PMP implementation progress and cost against the plan.

　　• Escalating removal of blockers to progress and resolution of issues.

　　In addition, plan, coordinate and manage engineering projects. Act as lead in defining and executing systems engineering activities within a project. Provide comprehensive definition of all aspects of system development from analysis of mission needs to verification of system performance. A senior system engineer could support operations as needed. Ensure efficient delivery of contract capabilities using industry standards and repeatable processes. Mitigate risks, controls costs and schedule variance, and effectively manages large scale, integrated projects. Review and/or approve system engineering documentation to ensure that processes and specifications meet system needs and are accurate, comprehensive, and complete. Establish and follow a formal procedure for coordinating system integration activities among multiple teams, ensuring complete coverage of all interfaces. Capture all interface designs in a common interface control format, and store interface data in a commonly accessible repository. Establish a process to formally and proactively control and manage changes to requirements, consider impacts prior to commitment to change, gain stakeholder buy-in, eliminate ambiguity, ensure traceability to source requirements, and track and settle open actions.

　　What We Look For in a Candidate

　　Requirements:

　　Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position; an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree

　　Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience in addition to education level

　　Must possess current DoD 8570 IAT II or IAM II certification

　　Experience working in a DoD or IC environment desired

　　Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
