Lead Installer/Carpenter Closets by Design is a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems. We design, manufacture, and install a complete line of custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall-beds, garage cabinetry and more. We are currently searching for an experienced Lead Installer to join our growing team: * Main duties: Load vans with product and arrive at customer's home around 8am. Install organizing system per drawings. Install products in safe, high quality, productive and profitable fashion in our customer’s homes. Demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction by communicating what is necessary in a genuinely friendly and professional fashion. * Position requirements include: Valid Driver's License, Good Driving Record, Operate company vehicle, tools, etc. in a safe manner. Excellent communication abilities (verbal and written). Extended periods of walking, standing, stooping and lifting up to 20-50lbs consistently, willingness to cross-train. * Schedule: Full time, Monday- Friday, 7am-3.30pm (could vary depending on the job). * Compensation: $60,000-$80,000++ per year, depending on Installer Level and daily install value capacity. * Tools: Company provides tools, or you can provide your own tools. Company provides blades and other consumables. * Vehicles: Company provides vehicles, maintenance, gas, insurance and logoed shirts. Candidate must supply your own footwear, hearing protection. There are several criteria that are important to your success in this role: * The Right Skill Set: Excellent trim carpenter skills and interpersonal communications. Closet, garage, office cabinetry installation experience preferred. * Hard Working: A strong work ethic is critically important. This job may require working overtime to installation schedules and deadlines and to meet customers expectations. * Presentable and Articulate with Customers: We need somebody who is comfortable speaking with customers and ensuring that that our finished work meets their expectations. * Take Ownership and Pride In Your Work: You strongly believe that the work you do is a representation of not only you, but the Company you represent. A high level of commitment to excellence is required to do this job well. * Have a Calm and Professional Attitude: Our most successful installers are cool and calm under pressure and don't get bent out of shape when required to some on-the-job problem-solving.
