Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm
Pay Rate: $23-$25 Hourly DOE
This position will be helping support the installation of heater jackets on exhaust piping. The position will include measuring, cutting, and installing heater jackets on piping, as well as running wires for the heat treatment thermal loop systems. These heater jackets contain conductive wiring that maintains a constant temperature for the piping, allowing for consistent temperature control and outcomes. As a Lead installation Technician, they will manage a team of 2-4 installation technicians in their daily activities, report attendance, manage training opportunities and workflow. While we anticipate the majority of work to be done in North Phoenix, there is a possibility that support will be needed at the Chandler location as the newest fab begins to ramp up and tools are installed. We ask that all candidates are flexible in their ability to work at either location as needs are determined by the business.
Job Description:
The principal duties and responsibilities will be:
Lead a team of operator/install technicians m aintain ing accountability for essential aspects such as attendance, training, and daily operational activities.
Strictly adhere to established guidelines and instructions for installation, following our Standard Process protocols.
Troubleshoot basic electrical issues effectively by using standard diagnostic equipment
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, equipment schematics and blueprints
Participate in practical problem solving & heat related issues
Proficiently handle equipment used during installation process which may include performing minor maintenance of Heater Systems
Collaborate in the development of comprehensive documentation to standardize installation processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency .
Wiring & Running Wire, Insulation and Installation
Ability to use a computer and have working knowledge of Microsoft systems
Requirements:
High School/GED
Minimum 4-5 years of technical related experience
Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet either on or off a ladder
Ability to work in tight or confined spaces for extended amount of time
Ability to lift up to 50lbs, Ability to be on your feet for up to 10 hours a day
Ability to obtain OSHA 30 Certification
Ability to obtain a scissor lift certification
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Preferred:
Mechanical equipment assembly experience
Sub Fab/Fab environment experience
Experience running heater insulation on exhaust piping
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Desire/ability to learn new skills and work in a constructive manner.
Technical capability with equipment maintenance
Must be able to work in an industrial setting, be energetic and professional.
