About Lead HR Generalist

  Eaton’s Power Components Division is currently seeking a Lead HR Generalist at a dynamic new brownfield manufacturing site supporting the rapidly growing demand for its electrical solutions in El Paso, TX.

  The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

  The role will maintain, generate, and update all relevant actions to programs that contribute to employee satisfaction and the establishment of a positive working environment that reinforce the Eaton Business System.

  Responsible for conducting communications regarding information affecting staff: policies, procedures, congratulations, general changes, general communication to employees etc.

  Follow up business cases among employees or between employees and supervisors, to ensure a positive work environment.

  Facilitate and attend HR Focus Groups (i.e., Employee Survey, Roundtables, All Employee Meetings) including meeting minutes and timely completion of action items.

  Create and maintain Wellness Program for facility including participating in team sponsored events; evaluate corporate best practices and incorporate into facility program.

  Responsible for the maintenance of employee recognition programs such as Employee of the Month, Perfect Attendance, E-STAR, 5S, Achieving Excellence, etc.

  Perform monthly analysis reports in order to maintain data to enable effective decision-making.

  Responsible for the termination process of all employees, both hourly and salaried.

  Responsible for monitoring the media for employees, such as newsletters, murals, kiosks, plasmas, magazines, among others.

  Comply with the requirements applicable to HR-OR position.

  This role will make sure the new plant in El Paso, TX, meets all HR internal and legal requirements to start production of the PCD products per the schedule. After completing the project, this role will be part of the operations of the plant.

  Perform all duties as assigned by the HR Manager.

  Qualifications:

  Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR in a manufacturing/operations environment

  Company sponsorship is not offered. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.

  Skills

  Computer skills including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  Strong written and oral communication skills

  Ability to multi-task

  Attention to detail and accuracy

  Ability to lead teams and work cohesively

  English\Spanish with good oral and written communication skills
