  Position SummaryAt the direction of the SVP Retail Operations, the Lead Strategy Director plans and directs administrative, financial, and operational activities for the Retail Operations team. The individual organizes and prioritizes critical issues and required information to facilitate efficient decision making. Additionally, the Lead Strategy Director would be accountable for facilitating the development, measurement, and tracking of business unit strategic plans and the identification of initiatives necessary to achieve organizational objectives. Responsible for providing guidance and direction to the Retail Operations Leadership team and cross-functional team members as required in support of initiatives. Provide information, specialist resources, expert opinion and thought leadership needed to support the attainment of business objectives. May be responsible for concurrent cross-functional initiatives or projects as team lead and/or team member, based on direction from senior leaders.

  Required Qualifications

  • 10 + years’ experience in operations or healthcare

  • 5 + years' experience planning and leading strategic initiatives

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfortable making decisions with limited information and ambiguity

  • Collaborates well with diverse, cross-functional teams

  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form

  Proficient in developing and coordinating and strategic documents for executive (and potentially customer) consumption

  • Possesses a strong passion for patients and customers with a “speed to action” mindset that delivers timely results

  Education

  Bachelor's required, Masters / Advanced Degree preferred

  Pay Range

  The typical pay range for this role is:

  $100,000.00 - $231,500.00

  This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program. Eligible employees may enroll in the Company’s 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.
