As a Lead Cook on our team, you will complete avariety of tasks which will include: Work in designated station as setby Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef. Able to organize the assigned workarea and efficiently put away orders. Able to produce quality product ina timely and efficient manner for guests, Cook food according torecipes, quality standards, presentation standards and food preparationchecklist. Check supplies and prep lists and ensure all items areprepped in a timely fashion. Communicate any assistance needed duringbusy periods and report any incidents to the Sous Chef to ensure optimumservice to guests. Wash and disinfect kitchen area, workstations,tables, tools, knives and other equipment. Minimize waste and maintaincontrols to attain forecasted food cost. Take on leadership role duringthe absence of Executive Chef and Sous Chef. The position is ideal forsomeone with the following experience and qualities: Three years ofprevious experience in a similar role. Excellent customer serviceskills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Dependabilityand regular attendance. Ability to work evenings and weekends.
