　　DUTIES: Applytheoretical knowledge of engineering, design, and drafting principles andconcepts to support engineers in performance analysis, simulation, design, drafting, and plant layout. Work with engineers and designers to define, improve, and automate procedures for designing, checking, and modifying plantdesigns. Maintain and develop system customizations. Act as the central contactand develop CAD automation software customizations for global engineeringteams. Maintain data integrity by reviewing existing engineering and equipmentmodels, assemblies, and drawings. Repair broken data links between engineeringgraphics and the project database, and help migrate older models to newersoftware versions. Work with project engineers to ensure that CAD automationtools support their ability to meet established engineering standards. Remotework may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, inaccordance with company policy, with a requirement to be in office 3 to 4 daysper week.

　　REQTS: Musthave a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering (any), plus ten(10) years of experience in the position offered, Applications Engineer or arelated position. Employer will accept two (2) years of related work experiencein meeting the Bachelor's degree requirement. Must have ten (10) years ofexperience in each of the following: 2D and 3D CAD design tools includingAutoCAD Plant 3D, Smart Plant, Smart Plant Instrumentation and COMOS to assistin troubleshooting errors in software and work procedure; 2D and 3D CAD designtools including AutoCAD and SolidWorks to assist in troubleshooting errors insoftware and work procedure; Creation and administration of projects in AutoCADPlant3D, COMOS, Smart Plant and Smart Plant Instrumentation; Support thedevelopment of custom applications for tools in support of plant design tasks, including Process and Instrumentation Symbology and scripts, 3D parametricobjects, piping design reference, data such as pipe classes, and administrationof electrical schematics; Industrial plant design supporting process, electrical and mechanical design to support CAD designers and Engineers; Bentley Microstation V8i and Connect Edition, and Bentley ProjectWise V8i; Bentley AutoPLANT and ProSteel, SELECTSeries and Connect Editions; Design andmanage data input cards to collect engineering data to help in search andretrieve functions; and Autodesk Vault Server administration and SolidWorksProduct Data Management (PDM) to create and manage user accounts, createsecurity groups, assign permissions, create project work areas, manage files ofdifferent types stored on the server, restore deleted files and maintain theintegrity of the data stored on the server.
