This job was posted by https://illinoisjoblink.illinois.gov : For moreinformation, please see:https://illinoisjoblink.illinois.gov/jobs/11580247 Planning andexecuting a variety of methodologies in the overall project developmentof Oracle Applications using Oracle DBA, Oracle EBS, Oracle Apps DBA,Oracle Exadata, and Linux; Working with Oracle Unified Methods (OUM),AST EDM methodologies and MS Project for the project plan, AIM, EDM,EAM, Visio for the business process and flows, and SharePoint for thehousing and sharing of project deliverable documents; Researching,planning and developing project strategies; Analyzing business and userneeds; Formulating and defining system scope and objectives throughresearch combined with an understanding of applicable business systemsand industry requirements; Meeting with project stakeholders to completebusiness analysis and systems analysis; Conducting workshop sessionswith stakeholders to understand their current business processes;Providing Oracle SOA expertise for all Oracle application relatedfunctionalities; Designing cloud-based integration solutions using AWS,Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Integration Cloud; Developing userinterfaces using MVC framework Oracle ADF; Performing usage of BAM tomonitor activities within the SOA Suite composites; Defining, mappingand analyzing business processes and designing technology solutions toenhance business operations; Designing and implementing DevOps processeswith focus on continuous integration and deployment; Analyzing businessTO-BE and inspecting AS-IS to develop recommendations to achieve policyobjectives; Performing fit-gap analysis in the implementation process todetermine the appropriate fit of business requirements against theOracle SOA system and to determine the viable resolution for any gaps;Reviewing test plans and test scripts for various business areas toensure that all scenarios are covered; Overseeing all aspects of testingincluding establishing metrics, resource planning, bug tracking andissue assignment using tools such as Jira; Coordinating applicationsecurity and firewalls with business users and development team;Training end users by conducting workshops and training sessions so thatusers can effectively use the newly implemented business systems toperform their day-to-day operations; and contributing and creatingdocumentation according to the companys methodology that includesquality assurance, change management process and business documentationto ensure that all facets of the project process is deliveredsuccessfully according to the business requirements. Requirements:Masters Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science,Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, InformationTechnology, Applied Computer Science, Business or Engineering and oneyears experience in position or one years experience in IT or BusinessAnalysis field (or Bachelors Degree or foreign degree equivalent inComputer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications,Information Technology, Applied Computer Science, Business orEngineering and five years experience in position or five yearsexperience in IT or Business Analysis field); and experience with OracleDBA, Oracle EBS, Oracle Apps DBA, Oracle Exadata, and Linux. Travel tovarious unanticipated client sites required in US. May reside anywherein the US. Telecommuting permitted.
