The opportunity
This position is responsible for managing and conducting Teva’s Global Compliance & Ethics (“GC&E”) Monitoring and Risk Assessment Program and will report to the Senior Manager, GC&E Monitoring. This position works closely with senior management and key stakeholders across various business functions in support of planning, executing, and reporting, data analytics, mitigation, and remediation activities.
How you’ll spend your day
• Support the Senior Manager, GC&E Monitoring, in the creation and execution of the annual department risk assessment and monitoring planning; this includes but is not limited to global Procure to Pay (P2P) and other compliance monitoring plans.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the P2P monitoring program.
• Develop key work plans for the full life cycle of P2P Controls Detection Reporting Program, including interfacing with ERP owners across Teva’s global network to analyze data and controls.
• Partner with ERP contacts to obtain needed extracts, process, and validate data to analyze results and provide insights to the business.
• Work closely with compliance teams to provide needed data analytics in support of global, regional, and local trends and needs.
• Work with GC&E Operations team to assess and implement enhancements to the monitoring program, through systems and process improvements and automation.
• Ensure complete and accurate work papers are documented and archived appropriately.
• Develop remediation and mitigation actions as requested, and work to continuously improve risk and monitoring programs.
• Systems and user acceptance activities.
• Subject matter expert in use and functionality of MonitorMate.
• Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders across various business functions (e.g., Compliance, Procurement, Global Internal Audit, Finance. Legal).
• Directs external vendors in support of GC&E systems and processes.
• Other projects and duties as required/assigned.
Your experience and qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required
• Minimum 5 years working in Compliance, Accounting, Finance, Audit, or Legal
• 5+ years working with data analytics, ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Priority, JDE, Ariba) preferred
• Prior monitoring and internal controls experience required
• Pharmaceutical industry knowledge preferred
• General understanding of OIG’s expectations of an effective compliance program, and DOJs guidance for evaluating corporate compliance programs
• Intermediate to advanced ability to use SQL, Alteryx and Excel for data creation, review and analysis preferred
• Intermediate to advanced Qlik and BI for data visualization capabilities preferred
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team in fact-paced environment and against established deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing deliverables and timelines
• Prior experience managing others preferred
• Problem solving skills
