What You Will Do
As the Lead Analyst, you will support and lead (certain areas) management within the Global Inventory COE for all business areas (O&S, MSNT, Europe, international or GQO). Your primary role will be supporting the reporting structure of inventory which includes having an understanding of information need and report creations, the flow of information through the different ERP's and other reporting/information systems, advanced analytics reporting, variance analysis reporting, and forecasting (reporting). Additionally, you will provide support for all stakeholder management, in leading all inventory related business support reporting, like month end cycles, including all Flash call reporting support, Balance Sheet reviews reporting, Cash Flow reporting, projections/budget cycles reporting, and any business initiatives related to optimizing inventory reporting, supporting transitions of accounting or inventory work reporting, or system implementations. You will not manage any direct reports.
Business Support reporting:
Leading to inform the manager and directors for identifying and defining all reporting needs to precisely and effectively report on metrices, KPI's, variances and progress for Global Inventory COEReporting could entail consolidated overviews for the divisions, Business review slides, flash comment files, PowerBi, Metrics, KPI's, Balance reviews, cash flow reviews, projections, budgets, regular balances and trends overviews across divisions, progress reports, updating databases and translate needs into report, etc.Leading the manager and director(s) on the distribution of reports within the organization.Leading for making the reports accurate, timely and relevant (reconciled).Analyze and forecast financial, economic and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisisions.Support on possible ad hoc analysis and reportsLeading the production of periodic reportsAs Lead Analyst you execute many of the same activities as the manager for certain topics, divisionsDevelop

Driving the monthly closing reporting leading to the comments on actuals and where possible any deviations towards projections/budget with Divisional Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and Global Finance Service Centers (GFS) teamsCommunication/relationships:
Communicate timely value added insights to stakeholders/managersProactively communicate changes in business trends, local business decisions or other issues that may have a financial impact and are accounting relatedInforming and aligning with other departments within Stryker who are also working on reporting including Artificial Intelligence, predictive procedures and other methodologiesAssist in prioritizing IT requests reporting requestConduct and document complex financial analysis projectsDevelop analysis of economic indicators in order to prepare forecasts and analyze the company's short, medium, and long term position; Prepare in-depth evaluations of plans and identify new methods of analysis and presentation for inventory purposeAttend knowledge and training sessions for reporting requirements as they evolveSupport in building change management plans for reportingPlanning/analyze:
Lead the planning process in reporting with the internal Inventory COE team for the divisions on preparing forecast models, consolidations, and coordination of projection calls where applicableProvide quality data into business projections and budget processesAdvice team with regards to patterns and relationships in the dataAnalyze system data proactively to identify bottleneck, trends and compliance risks.Compliance:
Support where needed/applicable for Internal and External Audits (mainly SOX related)Support in accuracy and consistency of data base information and formattingSupport in achieving accuracy and meeting pre determined deadlinesSupport in standard reporting pack is relevant, accurate, reliable and timelyOther:
Support in process improvements (use of BOTS/RPA/Alterix/Others)Participate in inventory reporting project related items and actively deliver input, such as, further integrations, transitions, and system implementationsSupport in ad-hoc questions related to inventory business support
What You Need
Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent is required (Master's preferred)4+ years experience in managing complex reporting environments, preferably within inventory and/or other complex accounting functions in global organizationsFluent in EnglishOther languages such as Spanish/Polish/Dutch are nice to haveExcellent working knowledge & understanding of systems, programming, SQL, reporting tools, PowerBi, ExcelThe Lead level will also typically: possess well developed knowledge and skills to interpret financial information on costs, prices, expenses and revenues and make recommendations to senior managementShould have the ability to see the 'big picture' and yet able to resolve day to day issues if requiredOracle/SAP/MFG/JDE experience is a nice to have.
$73,100- $152,400 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
