The pay range is $109,000.00 - $196,200.00

　　As a Lead Accessibility Consultant , you'll be embedded with a team of developers, designers and product owners and that team is altogether respons ible for creating world-class accessible experiences for Target Guests and Target Team Members . This includes the creation of entirely new experiences, as well as improvement to existing ones. You'll be well-po sitioned to make an impact as a Lead Accessibility C onsultant working on a friendly and high-performing team operating at the heart of Target's growing digital business.

　　In t his role , you will be involved in the full product development cycle, providing accessibility consultation during the ideation, design, development and testing phases, providing final sign off prior to the experience being launched . You'll use your WCAG knowledge to guide your partners in the design and development of innovative and accessible digital experiences . You'll do this by experimenting and collaborating , through product discovery and design sprints, with both next-generation ideas and optimizations of current experiences in support of Target's busine ss strategies .

　　You'll bring empathy and guest insights to every business problem. You'll participate in guest research and leverage data to inform design decisions. You'll help to define objectives and results with product, design, engineering and business partners . You'll push work forward with high standards and an approach that follows the voice of the guest. You'll collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of leaders , product designers, content designers , engineers, product manag ers, data analysts and researchers.

　　Technical ExperienceExpert skills in understanding WCAG 2.1 AA and working in an agile environment with developers and designers in applying requirements to create accessible experiencesProven ability to successfully lead accessibility efforts, throughout all phases of development, within large-scale projects and initiatives involving multiple cro ss-functional teamsExperience developing procedures to guide consistent accessibility consulting across an organizationExperience performing accessibility testing of web and app experiences with assistive technology, including k eyboards and screen readersSoft SkillsAble to work well in a large organization with many partners , with a demonstrated track record of building deep relationships and influencing peers and leadersComfort operating with flexibility in your approach in order to deliver results in a fast paced , constantly changing and highly ambiguous work environmentTrack record in using a strategic approach to solve complicated problems and strong collaboration skills in order to pull partners into your work processC ommunicate digital accessibility needs and solutions with grace, logic and dataShowcase examples of successful mentoring of peers , which demonstrates your approach to teachin g in order to elevate the work of consultants on your teamHave a passion for continuously improving digital experiences for people with disabilitiesThis position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
