　　Nature & Scope:Responsible for the set-up of work stations, assignment of work, the supply of materials in proper combination and sequence for shipment in support of schedule attainment and required productivity levels.  Assist supervisor as needed.  Assume responsibilities in the absence of the Supervisor except for hiring, disciplining, and discharging of employees.

　　Specific Job Responsibilities & Duties:Ensures effective employee relations.  Provides employee coaching and development.  Resolves employee issues through problem resolution as outlined by policies and practices.  Understands when to involve Supervisor to resolve employee issues.  Communicates all issues to Supervisor.* Demonstrates effective and professional communication skills.* Balances quality, productivity, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.  Works to continuously improve in all areas.* Directs departmental performance measures with Supervisor, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to Supervisor.* Provides leadership. "Leads by example"* Tracks absenteeism and time-keeping using the Time and Attendance system.* Completes and submits Daily Production Planning and end of day actual production attainment. * Assume responsibilities in the absence of the Supervisor (in regards to the production line), except for hiring, discipline, and discharging of employees.* Work towards continuously improving housekeeping, safety, and productivity, and supports an environment that empowers employees.

　　Experience* Minimum 1 year of window assembly experience* Good work and attendance history* Proven ability to read/review job folders* Average computer skills (working knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word)

　　Skills* Ability to use hand tools and powered pallet jacks * Ability to read tape measure* Ability to read and understand Graham Architectural Products' blueprints, drawings, and routings* Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks* Team player  

　　Education* High School graduate or GED
