Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.
Position Overview:
The Warehouse Foreman supervises warehouse employees during the issue, receipt, turn in and shipment of parts and materials in support of customer’s activities. Responsible for warehouse layout planning, establishment of document files, preparation of required documents and reports.
Assists with cyclic inventory / 100 % inventory of the Stock Record Account (SRA) as assigned. Investigates and reconciles discrepancies and reports those that could not be resolved at lower levels. Assists and reviews a daily checklist to ensure key tasks are accomplished to contract performance standard/s by section employees. Oversees the transfers, adjustments, turn-ins, issues, receipts and controls of all materials assigned to warehouse. Ensures proper planning, receipt, storage, and issue of all project material and the control of project furnished small tools and third-party rentals. Supervises and reviews work activities for accuracy and effectiveness within function.
Provides leadership to cause the creation of organizational structure and processes required to fully execute the requirements of services and is responsible for the execution of services. Provides technical guidance and training to assigned personnel. Monitors and reviews work performed. Evaluates service execution for compliance to contract, schedule, cost budgets, and quality. Advises team of status, issues, impacts, risk, and cost influence factors in reference to scope of work. Informs team of updates to safety rules and procedures. Performs complex assignments and fulfills broad responsibilities where compulsory outcomes are defined, but methods and procedures may vary based on judgment or precedent.
Conducts Quality self-audits to ensure the SSA operates in accordance with local policies and procedures contained in AR 710-2 and AR 735-5. Supervises union employees on a daily basis, conducts performance counseling’s, makes recommendations for discipline/termination of employment and participates in the KBR selection/retention process.
Applicable Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Ability to operate Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT)
Knowledge of the Global Combat Support System–Army (GCSS-Army), Post-Goods Issue Process, Turn-In Process, Put away actions, and Storage Support Functions.
Field of expertise: General Foreman Level Supply Support Activity and Military warehouse GCSS-Army
Must be able to complete the Common Core and Supply Support Activity business area of GCSS-Army Training and Certification system (GTRAC) within 30 days of hire date.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
At least 3 years of experience as a supervisor and 5 years of experience in supply activity functions specializing in warehouse operations
Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently
Must have a valid State Driver’s License
Additional Skills or Experience Preferred:
Military MOS 92A PreferredAdditional requirements:
Work under stressful circumstances and meets short suspense dates
Individual must be able to perform required duties, and wear and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Individual must be able to lift/move 45 lbs. without assistance and up to 80 lbs. with assistance.
Able to meet criteria of DA PAM 611-21 and AR 601-210.
Individual must be physically capable of performing the work in extreme temperatures, low humidity, blowing sand and dust.
Individual may be required to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Job may require operating at heights above ten (10) feet but not more than thirty (30) feet.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Basic Compensation: $61,200 - $91,800
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
