DUTIES: Receive, wash, dry, press, hang, wrap and fold items.Receive and sort laundry items such as linens, towels, and table linens.Wash and dry them using a washing machine and dryer. Dry cleanappropriate items. Press laundry items using steamers or irons to getwrinkles out of laundry. Use hangars to hang up laundry that needs todry or store. Wrap laundry in protective plastic to prevent dust anddirt. Workers may be required to drive company vehicle for an occasionaldelivery of clean laundry items to customers on the island of Nantucket,Massachusetts. Vehicles that will possibly be driven will be passengervan or sprinter van, or a laundry step van. Will train. Vantransportation is provided for occasional delivery to customers onNantucket. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Valid driving license required, and3-months? prior experience required. SCHEDULE: 35hrs p/wk. Rotatingshifts between 6am-6pm. Shifts vary; 6am-2pm; 10am-6pm. Days, weekends,holidays. Days off vary by week. WAGE: \$18.54 p/hr. Workers are paidweekly. A single workweek is standard for computing wages due.Possibility of OT and/or merit increase, but no guarantee. Whenavailable, the overtime rate is \$27.81 p/hr.
