What would I be doing?

　　The Laundry Room Attendant is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. The position is also responsible for performing the daily operations of the laundry facilities – including loading, unloading, washing, and storing of laundry items and laundry chemicals.

　　Responsibilities

　　The Laundry Room Attendant provides superior guest service, positively effects interactions with guest and team members, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with team members. Assists guests and team members with questions or problems, ensuring guest satisfaction.

　　Unloads and changes all chemical drums as necessary.

　　The Laundry Room Attendant operates all commercial washers, dryers and flatwork irons.

　　Sorts, feeds and pulls linen and terry from bins, washers, dryers and flatwork irons.

　　The Laundry Room Attendant sorts linen and terry into appropriate bins/linen carts.

　　Feeds linen and terry into washers, dryers and ironers

　　The Laundry Room Attendant will push/pulls damp and tangled linen and terry from washers.

　　Maintains inventory control, item count and associated recordkeeping.

　　What are we looking for?

　　EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

　　(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)

　　Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to: flatwork ironer, washers, dryers, and towel-folding machine.

　　Ability to inspect laundry items, maintain inventory control and perform all associated recordkeeping.

　　Ability to effective and efficiently move around laundry area.

　　Requires the ability to twist and lift up to 100 pounds and push/pull loads up to 250 pounds, so as to be able to load, wash, and store laundry items.

　　Effective communication skills.

　　ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):

　　Must successfully pass background check

　　Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening

　　Must be 18 years of age
