Job Description:
Duties: Duties include sod laying, mowing, trimming, pruning trees,shrubs and plants, installation of plants, trees and shrubbery, wateringplants and lawns, plant transplanting, fertilizing, digging, raking,sprinkler installation construction, installation, repair and generalcleanup of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units andstructures. Workers may gather and remove litter, operate poweredequipment and drive company vehicles to customer locations.
Requirements:
POST-HIRE DRUG SCREEN AT EMPLOYERS EXPENSE. MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50POUNDS. REPETITIVE MOVEMENTS, FREQUENT STOOPING, EXTENSIVE WALKING,PUSHING, AND PULLING. EXPOSURE TO EXTREME TEMPERATURES.
Terms & Conditions of Employment:
\$18.93/hr., at 40 hours a week, Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (schedulevaries). Overtime rate of pay is at least \$28.40per hour. Overtime willbe available as needed. Higher pay and/or other incentives availablebased on performance.
Inbound Transportation:
Transportation: From the place from which the worker has come to work,whether in the U.S or abroad, to the place of employment, if the workercompletes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will provideadvance payment of transportation and subsistence from the place ofrecruitment to the place of employment.
Outbound Transportation:
Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissedearlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable cost ofreturn transportation and subsistence back home or to the place theworker originally departed to work, except where the worker will notreturn due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount oftransportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the mosteconomical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
Daily Transportation:
Employer will provide daily transportation to and from worksites.
Disclosure of daily subsistence amount
Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$15.46 per day duringtravel to a maximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts.
3/4ths guarantee not required due to 2016 Omnibus:
Three- fourths guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work forhours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-weekperiod of the total employment period.
Provision of tools, equipment, and supplies:
Tools, equipment, and supplies: The employer will provide workers at nocharge; all tools, supplies, & equipment required to perform the job.
Single Work Week guarantee and frequency of pay:
Miscellaneous: The employer will use a single workweek as its standardfor computing wages due; The pay period is biweekly.
Statement of deductions from workers pay:
The employer will make all payroll deductions required by law and willnot make any deductions which are not required by law.
Reimbursement of border, visa, and related fees:
The employer will reimburse an H-2B worker in the first work week forall visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees,including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker.
Provision of board, lodging, or other facilities
The employer will not be providing housing.
